About The Project
Most of the food we consume comes from a few producers or processors.
Everthing is transported vast distances

This means the system is vulnerable to problems such as transport, political activity, power grid outages, labour problems etc.
This vulnerabilty can translate to food shortages in certain areas.

Consumers also have no idea as to how their food is produced.
What is added to the food to keep it looking fresh?
What unprenounceable chemicals are added?
What does natural flavour mean?
What hormones are used to speed up growth?

What if you could buy food produced locally and you could ask all of the above questions directly to to the farmer?

We aim to make it possible for you to connect to a local food producer and if one is not currently available at least one you can buy directly from, get to know and build a food relationship with.

We would like to have producers from many different farms and include diverse seasonal products.

Beef, pork, poultry, eggs, cheese, raw honey, seasonal fruit and vegetables
